Baker Days Letterbox Cakes~Review

There's a cake for every occasion on the Baker Days website but these aren't just any cakes, they're Letterbox cakes!

I was intrigued about how a cake could be sent in the mail, put through your letterbox and still reach you in one piece so I couldn't refuse the offer of a review.

It took an age to decide on a cake as they are so many options and designs, including photo upload cakes, but I settled on the Father Christmas cake and asked for an inscription for the children. I then had to decide between sponge, carrot, fruit, gluten & wheat free or double chocolate chip. Sponge comes as standard with your order and the other choices are available for a small supplement.

The cake arrived neatly packaged, and with a Christmas cracker too which the children have been fighting over! The cake was indeed in one piece and looked great.

The children couldn't wait to tuck in when they got home from school. It was delicious and they loved it. I'm not a huge cake lover but this was moist and very tasty. The icing wasn't too thick (one of the reasons I don't like cake) and it had a lovely taste. Although the website states 4-5 portions I managed to get 8 child-sized slices.

We think these are a great and unique idea for a postal gift and we look forward to ordering some for friends and family.

Baker Days Letterbox Personalised cakes can be ordered from £14.99. Other sizes are available.

*We were not paid for this review. We were sent a Letterbox cake to review. All opinion is honest and based upon our own personal experiences.

  1. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The
words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.

I'm not sure if this is a

formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I

figured I'd post to let you know. The design and style look great though!
    Hope you get

    the problem fixed soon. Cheers

  3. Good post. I be taught one thing tougher on different blogs everyday.

    It

would at all times be stimulating to read content
    from other

writers and follow a bit of

one thing from their store. I’d favor to use some with the

content material on my weblog whether you don’t mind.

Natually I’ll give you a hyperlink in your internet blog.
    Thanks for sharing.
